Please join us this Thursday, February 25th, from 6 - 9 pm, for our official Grand Opening, in conjunction with The Wonder Craft! Our Grand Opening Raffle tickets are only $1.00 each, 50% of the proceeds from the raffle will directly benefit the "I Can Bead It" program! You will receive two tickets free when you purchase 5 tickets! There are 12 prizes in all, with an average retail value of $25.00. The grand prize alone is worth $60.00 and will be awarded at 9:00 pm. You need not be present to win!!
The "I Can Bead It" program is designed to provide beading workshops at hospitals for patients and their families in long term care or that visit regularly for treatment. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for patients and family to learn to create quality, wearable jewelry while spending long hours and days during thier daily treatments or during lengthy hospital stays. Learning and mastering new tasks brings a sense of self-satisfaction and empowerment. An additional benefit is that patients will get to feel beautiful wearing a new piece of jewelry designed and created themselves, or share their creation as a gift with someone special in their life.
